Corrugated cardboard boxes are measured by their internal dimensions. By providing the measurements of your existing box or product in the sequence of length, width and depth (also called height), we will make the carton you require.
To determine what size cardboard box you will need, firstly measure the size of the items you wish to package. This will give you your minimum box requirements.
If you are packing more than one item in a box, don’t forget which way up you want to stack them. Also remember which side you called length, width and Depth (height) so you don’t struggle when you come to pack them.
The length is always the larger of the two dimensions of the open face (flap opening); the width is the smaller. The depth is always the distance perpendicular to the length and width.
If you are going to include bubble wrap to protect your item, please remember to allow for this in your measurements.
